About us
Stoilka's Causes Foundation was created to preserve the ancestral and historical memory of Bulgarians and to pass on what makes us a community: the names, life stories, documents and narratives that would otherwise disappear with time.
Who we are
We are a family, friends and like-minded people united by the name and work of Stoilka. We work as volunteers, together with historians, teachers, museum specialists and institutions in support of the Causes of Stoilka.
"Stoilka's Causes" is a family foundation established by Stoilka Arsova together with Dafina and Michaela Arsovi, with the primary goal of preserving family and ancestral memory and supporting the cultural and historical initiatives connected with it.
What we support
According to its founding act, Stoilka's Causes Foundation supports:
• The construction and renovation of the buildings and exhibitions of the Historical Museum in Slivnitsa, as well as other museums, libraries, community centres and schools across the country, including through digital methods.
• Research in the field of cultural and historical heritage, the Bulgarian language and script, regional dialects, and their transfer into the digital world through typography.
• Educational initiatives that raise awareness among Bulgarians at home and abroad about preserving ancestral memory, universal human values and Christian values.
• Festivals, seminars, trainings, forums, conferences and study tours on topics related to the goals of the foundation.
• Cultural and educational events, public information and awareness campaigns, awards, and the publication of printed and informational materials.
• Project implementation, fundraising, public-private partnerships and cooperation with Bulgarian and international organisations, cultural and educational institutions with similar non-profit goals.
Founder and visionary
Through the foundation she created, Stoilka's Causes, Stoilka Arsova continues to support initiatives aimed at preserving cultural and historical heritage, promoting ancestral memory, and using modern technology to present Bulgarian history to younger generations.
